Encouragement for those facing coverage changes!

Like many of you, I’ll be facing the need to reauthorize my PA in July—and honestly, who knows what will happen. I was on Wegovy for two years and switched to Zepbound in March to try and shed the last 20 pounds. After losing 80, the weight loss has really slowed down and I'm afraid that will count against me.

But this morning, I woke up with a renewed mindset. I’m determined to make these next two months count. I’m committed to putting in the effort and making the most of this time on Zepbound, hoping to lose more and strengthen my case. And if July brings a denial, I’m choosing to focus on gratitude—I’ll still have Wegovy to return to, which is more than nothing. And hopefully, I’ll be even closer to my goal.

Do I agree with how this is being handled or believe these two medications are truly interchangeable? Absolutely not. But I can’t control what the big pharmaceutical companies decide—I can control how I respond.
