What should I do after working in Television?

Hi all,

I’ve been working in TV for 20+ years, but I’m now seriously considering a career change. While I had a pretty good and exciting time working in the industry, TV is in bad shape and for freelancers is specially bad with 70% out of work at the mo.

I’m particularly interested in remote roles. I’ve got experience in managing big teams, coordinating projects, managing tricky clients and big budgets, and working under pressure to tight deadlines.

I’m looking for something that feels more sustainable and still has a sense of purpose—ideally remote, flexible, and not soul-crushing! Has anyone here made a similar move out of TV? What kinds of careers should I be exploring?

Thanks in advance!
