i dread breastfeeding my baby

my daughter is only 4 days old and i already dread when it’s time to nurse. she had a tongue tie that was revised but my nipples are already cracked & bleeding & i wince every time she starts to nurse. i know it’s going to take time for her to learn how to do this properly but i don’t want to hate feeding my child during a moment we should be bonding.. would pumping & supplementing with formula really be that bad?
