Is this a good time to get into MyTeam?

I refused to play MyTeam this year bc I didn’t want to fall into the trap of spending all this money like I have in years past. I was able to restrict myself, and haven’t touched the game all year. However, due to a lack of better games to play rn, I thought I’d see what’s up. I have a few pink diamonds and GOs from putting in random codes throughout the year in case I made it to this point but that’s it. What’s the best way to get started NMS?
