Independent Candidate shows how it's done! Jessica Werner for Riverhead, NY!
Hello! A group of us mom's in Riverhead were so discouraged with the November election results, we started meeting and organizing in the local park.
Recently, we decided that one project to move the world forward was to run progressive candidates in places where the Democratic Party left "blanks on the ballot."
Our little social group has had its first success!
One of our (politically) grieving mom's has found her newest project and received coverage in the local press!

Jessica also put up a FaceBook page with a very long title!!!)
