What should I look for in a financial consultant in the UAE? Especially for long-term planning?
Hey everyone,
I've been thinking seriously about getting a financial consultant in the UAE — mostly for long-term planning like auditing, savings goals, maybe even financial planning as an expat. But honestly, it’s hard to tell who’s worth trusting.
So I’m curious:
- What makes a financial consultant “good” in your experience?
- Do certifications or firm reputation matter more?
- Any red flags to watch out for?
- Is it normal for UAE-based consultants to charge upfront or work on commissions?
I came across an article from a UAE-based firm that broke down what to ask before hiring a consultant, and it made me realize I’ve probably been asking the wrong questions this whole time 😅
You can check out a detailed guide on financial consultants in the UAE if you are interested. Let me know in the comments.
Also, would love to hear your thoughts, especially if you’ve worked with someone great (or not-so-great). Trying to avoid mistakes before committing to anyone.
Thanks in advance!
