Affordable root canal

I’m in need of a root canal and was quoted $2500 from Commonwealth Dentistry (with Aetna insurance). I was wondering if there are any more affordable dentists in the area? I know some people previously recommended VCU School of Dentistry, but when I called, I was informed they’re no longer accepting new patients 😭
