Release Schedule Debate?

General Discussion

3 / 4s of the way through this absolute titanic achievement in television, where do you all stand on the release schedule being so compressed, essentially releasing 4 movies in 4 weeks? I wonder if anyone is having as much trouble deciding which way I'd prefer.

One the one hand, I can think of at least three of the nine episodes having ended in a spot that would absolutely drive me mad to wait a week for, particularly anything in the 37 - 40 minute range, and I've been relieved to not have to wait. THey have worked so well in large chunks too, I was worried it'd lose something.

On the other hand, where I could have rewatched the episode twice in a night, analyzed little details and noticed things here and there, I can't do that with these because of my time zone and job obligations, I can't be up until 2AM.

I also don't like how fast the end has come to us. This could have taken me right into the summertime, now it's not even going to get me to a three day weekend :).

What do you guys think?
