Sync global timer after cutting

Hi! When I record the first loop the global timer is adjusted to the length of the loop. However, I have the problem that when I cut the length of the loop, the global timer stays the same. When I then record another loop (with start recording 'On Loop'), that second loop is out of sync with the first and runs longer (as long as the initial loop before cutting). Is there any solution to this?
