I'll be starting a new role in HR soon and I need all the advice you can share with me. [IN]

Hi all, I'm from India.

I'll be starting a new role in the HR team next week. This is my first time working in core HR/Generalist role as I earlier worked in recruitment and handled some operational activities. So it's quite a transition for me. Over the last few months, I did upskill to gain some theoretical knowledge but I would really like to know what I could expect working in an HR role.

It's a 3-4 member HR team and the company size is over 80-90 employees.

I've heard a lot of HR redditors mention how emotionally challenging it could be so I'd really appreciate some honest feedback, advice and tips to prepare myself for the role.
