Any way to get E2 lab results faster? Quest is taking 8 to 14 days.

I’ve been trying to get my E2 dialed in for way too long. I pay close attention to side effects. It’s easy for me to tell when it’s way too high or way too low, but very hard to tell when it’s just moderately high or low - either way it negatively affects my physical libido.

I am going for labs every 8 to 12 weeks, but it takes forever to get results back for e2. I use Quest and love the fact that they report back partial results as every test is completed. Most of my labs came back within a couple of days but I’m still waiting on e2 and it’s been 12 days now.

I called them yesterday and learned that most of my blood is processed in a facility that is just an hour from here, but my e2 is being done way across the country. They had some equipment break down and said that it would be 4 to 6 days beyond the typical 7-10.

It’s a major pain in the ass trying to dial things in when I have to act on info that’s 2 weeks old. I could have easily raised or lowered my e2 by 10 points or more in that time.

Do any of you get results in less than a week? How and where? And where are you?
