Activity module downgrades and my workarounds
So, I stretch everyday for over an hour. This is a very low calorie endeavor, but it will accredit you 300+ calories for 1.5 hours, regardless of intensity chosen, almost the same as 45 minutes of weightlifting. Pilates and Yoga which are objectively way more active will only accredit you for 90 so calories for the same amount of time. I switched to steps only and removed calories thinking this would remove the irritation, but it still counts everyday as very very active due to my passive stretching that I do everyday, so then i start getting docked for not having enough easy days. If I don't log them it will count it as inactive time, which it's definitely not. So, I guess I have to use my Polar Beat heart rate monitor, which connects to Strava, which then imports to Oura, in order to get an activity in Oura logged with a more appropriate energy output count. Funny, polar activities used to be so much higher than Oura, which was very conservative, now it's the other way around. Anyone else want to get another wearable all together due to the activity downgrades but feel stuck because Oura has so much data?
