diagnosed, fazed, confused and in pain

I'm writing this out of desperation and with the hope to find women that are more experienced and understand me. For context I'm 28.

I got diagnosed 2 months ago after having symptoms for almost a year but not getting a gyn appointment. It was the first time at the gyn for me and she didn't even check my breasts, even though i told her i hadn't been at the gyn for a while.

After looking at the spots i described her as painful she told me it was LS and not to worry. She wrote the name of the illness down for me but didn't really explain anything further. Not even that its chronic. She gave me a silver infused cream and some aloe concentrate and told me to use it alternating. (i got it from her directly and paid 40€)

Now i have to admit that i didnt use it everyday since then, but most of the time. I have had two big and a minor spot when i went to the gyn which didnt go away yet, and another one flared up recently.

I know she didn't treat me properly, but i literally couldn't get an appointment with any other gyn, even though i told them all on the phone that it was urgent and that I'm in pain. It affects my life, it just hurts so bad and i already see and feel differences on my vulva. I dont have children yet and im afraid that i wont ve able to enjoy sex anymore soon or be able to give birth. Do you think it can get better without the steroids or do i have to find a doctor somehow that can prescribe them to me?
