Sugar addiction

I was recently diagnosed with chrons in the last two weeks and am on a course of steroids while we get humira set up with insurance. I know that the steroids are giving me a false sense of normalcy, which has led me to eat a lot of shit I know I should not be eating (sugar, fried foods).

Does anyone else struggle with sugar addiction (tends to be sour candy mostly), and how in the hell do you/did you deal with it?
