My Thailand Cannabis Experience

Went to Thailand last January 2025 in Pattaya, and wanted to share my first cannabis experience in years.

Right after we checked into the hotel, I headed to a nearby dispensary. The staff were super friendly and professional. The staff asked me when was the last time I smoked or if I had any experience with cannabis. Told her it had been 6 to 7 years back in college.

I honestly expected her to recommend something pricey since I'm a tourist, but she didn’t. Instead, she suggested the cheapest strain they had, Thai Local Kush. I bought two.

And I’m glad I listened. With my low tolerance, it was exactly what I needed. Got a nice, smooth high that didn’t knock me out or give me anxiety. I could still enjoy the rest of the day without feeling overwhelmed.

Props to the staff for not upselling me and for being honest with their recommendation. It was a great reintroduction to cannabis after years of not smoking.
