Damaged Bag

Wheel was damaged upon arrival in LGW.
Suitcase is a couple years old but I have no proof of purchase since it was purchased overseas. Gut feel is uneconomical to repair and not sure if anyone near me repairs suitcases.
Its a 32" and TK have offered me £20 compensation. Anyone have experience in getting proper compo from them?
