internalized ableism?
ever since October of 2023, I've been experiencing different types of symptoms for a plethora of different things, but I think me and my doctors are finally getting closer to an answer, and it might be POTS. so, keep in mind when reading this that I dont have a formal diagnosis or anything.
im going on a trip on Saturday, and while I'm there, I'm going to be walking around a lot. my girlfriend mentioned getting a cane because of how lightheaded and dizzy and sick I get from standing up and walking around too much, but I feel like if I get one, I'm just being dramatic because I dont have the formal diagnosis or a doctor telling me I need a mobility aid. is this internalized ableism? or would it even be called ableism, since I'm technically not medically disabled without a diagnosis?
