CMPUT 174/175 TA REQUIREMENT

Hey! Like the title says, has anyone who has been a TA for either of these two courses can share how the process works to become a TA? I'm going into my second year and just wondering how you even apply. Do we get an email about it or do we have to message someone? What’s the process like? Would really appreciate any help
