I played against my first smurf in midlane and wow it put into perspective how bad I am

So, a few days ago I reached gold (playing mainly support and mid), and my first game in gold was against an Orianna who absolutely shit on me. I've laned against a lot of oriannas but never one like this. Constant poking. She was always hovering the side of the lane opposite of where my jungler was. Every single time I went for a minion I took a QW to the face.

I legit couldn't do anything. She only killed me once but she was up 80 cs by minute 14. Like I've never felt so powerless in this game before.

Obviously I know I'm bad but playing against an actual good player made me realize I am SO far from being good at this game. I don't think I could ever lane so dominantly the way she did. Obviously the loss hurt but at least I learned a few things (one of them being never lock in smolder mid against a lane bully lmfao)
