Pelvic floor therapy? Gadgets?

I never thought I'd deal with incontinence. Even with e cream, I still piddle & have to wear a pad. (Patches & oral P, too) Doctor gave me a pelvic floor PT script. But can I DIY it with one of those pelvic floor vibrater things? Are they just as good?
