I have a question about Dungeon Crawler Carl

I've been listening to the Dungeon Crawler Carl series, and I bought book 3 not knowing that Critical Drinker is in it. I don't like him, and I don't like his voice. Just how much of him would I have to put up with? Because if it's too much I dunno if I even wanna listen to the book.
