Help with switching from mirtazapine to trazodone?

Hi I am supposed to be switching from mirtazapine 45 milligrams I’ve been on mirtazapine for 9 years now to trazodone my doctor said to just switch and not worry about withdrawal but I’m scared has anyone else done this just stopped mirtazapine and started trazodone if anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it
