Slipping into someone else’s skin ?

I’ve always been a pretty vivid dreamer, but sometimes, after waking up from a colorful dream, I get the feeling that I was living someone else’s life while I was asleep. When this happens, it feels like I’ve had a whole different life—as a completely different person. Has anyone else ever experienced this feeling?
