Late baby shower

My last baby shower (having 3 in total, one his side, one co ed and more for friends, and one my side) is happening pretty late, I’ll be almost 37 weeks, which already had me a bit worried but what can you do. Well after yesterdays OB appt I am measuring 2 weeks ahead of schedule, which if true would put me at almost 39 weeks around the time of the shower.

Has anyone else found themselves in this situation? Anyone have their baby before a shower… what ended up happening?

The shower is outdoors on the patio of a nice bistro but wouldn’t be a place for a newborn baby due to the heat (will be around 100f due to the time of year).

Help?
