Which type of non-vegan do you respect more?

Discussion

I’ve been reading Tik tok comments under videos on veganism and i think i can group the non-vegans in 2 main categories (at least in my eastern-european country). I started wondering which one i considered more ethical and i am honestly conflicted. I’m really curious what do you guys think

  1. A person that eats meat but is aware that it’s unethical and philosophically agrees with veganism. They consider themselves a hypocrite and admit that the only reason they’re not vegan is selfishness.

  2. A person that eats meat and wholeheartedly believes that it’s okay. They genuinely think it’s ethical and have some sort of a semi-logical argument for it. Maybe it’s ignorance, maybe it’s a conclusion they reached after considering all the points that both sides are making.

Let’s assume that none of them will ever go vegan in their lifetime
