Getting my old gamertag back

Back when I was in elementary school, the MW2 days, my first gamertag was jjdoggy and I'm yet to find a gamertag that hits the same. Just got a PS5 and found out my old account is still using that gamertag.

Do I have any recourse if I want to try to use that name again? I can't go the forgot my password route because the email I used has been lost in the ether.
