Trades for Memphis to try this summer
So two trade ideas:
Keep Ja and get Giannis.
Giannis has stated he likes Ja's game and we all know Giannis is most likely leaving the Bucks. So what can Memphis do to pursuade Milwaukee to trade him.
Milwaukee gets a solid Big Man in Jackson. Gets 2 younger players (Jackson, Clarke). Gets a 3 pt specialist off the bench.
Memphis starting 5 would be Morant, Bane, Wells, Giannis, and Edey. Giannis can work with Edey to get his game to the NBA level.
Prolly throw in some draft picks as well for the Bucks.
End the Morant experience.
Ja's antics and injuries might be wearing the front office a bit thin. The window for Bane and Jackson is closing. So go win now with a bonified Superstar.
I have a feeling Dallas is going to want to rebuild. So start with 2 young players and work your way towards draft picks to start the rebuild.
Memphis gets a bonified C to player alongside Jackson and a 3 point specialist to split time with Wells and Bane. They get that Championship experience and leadership they are desparately needing.
Memphis Starting 5 would be Pippen, Bane, Wells, Jackson, Davis. With the ability to go Pippen, Bane, Thompson, Wells, and Jackson for a shooting heavier squad.
