Industrial Setting

Have been working in the industrial setting for a little while now mainly doing injury prevention/education/ergonomics. I've really enjoyed leaning the ergonomics side of things, the relaxed atmosphere compared to other settings, and being able to treat how I deem fit. However the main bugaboo has been that this population does not show much of a care for their health. I'll get the occasional health conscious person who will listen and ask questions, but the majority do not care and are seemingly very lazy. Do you guys have any advice on how to get through to this demographic more? I get along fine with them from a personal level, I just can tell that most aren't listening nor will follow through with exercises/stretching that I give them. Don't worry though, they have no problem complaining about their chronic back pain despite being obese, not exercising, having a horrible diet, etc, etc. I've enjoyed the setting overall, but things like this make me think the service I'm providing is pointless. I know this is a common feeling that carries across all settings in therapy.
