I don’t know what to believe anymore

Like I mentioned in a previous post I’m new to Christianity and This walk with God and I’m sorry if my question are dump or useless I overthink a lot. So I encounter some orthodox and catholic peopple and they told me that God doesn’t fully forgive me until I go to a priest and repent in church and now I’m lost ,again sorry if this question is out of sense or unreadable
