Wella Toner over Sun In

I have been using sun in for the past few weeks (I know people say you shouldn't but I never have an issue) and my hair has lifted almost to the color I want. Can I use a Wella toner over hair lightened with sun in? I know to avoid bleaching but will my hair fall out if I'm using a volume 10 developer and a Wella toner?
