New golfer

I’m fairly new to golfing but I love it so far. I bought a second hand set of clubs but my friends told me to get a better driver bec the club face is really small (they are older clubs) . Any recommendations for a good starter driver around 500$. My friend also has a cobra Radspeed he is willing to sell for 200$ is it worth it?
