It might not be a nsfwise but for safety reasons I've done it nsfw.

for artists this is a question for you guys my main question as of late I've began choosing different types of references choosing bits and pieces of different images and then merging them together into a Frankenstein reference this mostly entails either real-life images from models or angles and artists i like as well from Eva and animal Head to legs and arms this does not in any way resemble the references from what they were originally except the parts that was selected for example the three images I am providing

First image the Frankenstein reference

Second image the tracing of the Frankenstein reference to have it all connected and makes sense and help my eyes from burning from all of the white backgrounds or Midge match of everything

Third image is the redraw which is practically the exact same thing slightly altered depending on how lucky I am when it comes to redrawing it and getting it accurate this is well entails the coloring phase and detailing phase

The third image isn't exactly the same to what is shown from the Frankenstein reference it's identical but slightly different because of skill level I hope what I'm asking you guys make sense and that you understand what I'm trying to ask I've just been having a hard time trying to figure out if this is an okay thing to do because how I see it is I'm not stealing whats already completed from someone I am stealing bits and pieces from multiple references merging them together into a new reference and then redrawing that reference into the drawing I wanted to be, please give me your import and criticism it'll be greatly appreciated

Is Frankenstein references a good thing
