Embrace carrier defect?

Trying to wear my 4 week old in this carrier- the issue is when I roll the waistband twice, it makes the carrier tiny. The tutorial I saw online says when rolled twice, the whole safety label should be visible but none of mine is… rolled once looks perfect but makes the buckle upside down. Anyone else have the same issue? How can I solve? My peanut will only contact nap! Thank you!!
