AITA for arguing with my husband cause he isnt letting me use his work desk at my family gathering?

Hi everyone,

So for context, I(24M) am married to my husband (27M) for about 4 years and we live together for 2. So, right now we dont have a Dinner table. My husband have this glass dinner table that he likes to use on his office bcs he likes to work on a big desk and it suits him perfectly.

So, we are heading towards Mothers day in my country and i am having my mother and brothers ( total of 6 people including me ) on a mothers day lunch ( its a thing here ).

So, we dont have a dinner table for everyone to have a meal together, my solution is to just have ppl making dishes by the oven and eating wherever they want, sofa, chairs, well, not really organized... ( Im trying to start this, im 24 and i really like to do these things but i dont have much experience in it .. )

So, i reached out to my husband asking if i could take his table to our dinner room and have the meal and by the end of the day i would put it back at its place. ( He will be at his mothers house, so all this would happen without him even noticing it since he will not be home and definetly wont be using the table )

Then he snapped at me, simply saying no, i wont, i dont like people touching my stuff and this is a bondary for him. He started saying all the things he already let my family have ( like for example, he has a computer that his job gave to him, but he likes to use his own, so we let my little sister have his job notebook for studying, or for another exemple, sometimes when my mother or sister are visiting, he lets them have a afternoon nap in our room because we have A/C and the guest room dont )

We got into a verbal fight, he is basically saying that isnt fair of me to keep asking it for him bcs it makes him unconfortable to have to deny so many times, and i sad that he not letting me use that table for no logic reason at all besides ( i dont want to ) makes me unconfortable. But at the end of the day, i simply said that i will not disrespect his wishes and wont take his table. He told me to go buy one or rent a plastic one to put on the dinner rom for the ocasion.

So right now im kind of pissed and wondering IATA for beying mad at my husband for not letting me use his work desk for my family gathering?
