Thoughts after First Time Watching Mobile Suit Gundam!

I just finished the OG Gundam series yesterday! I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed it. It's old, don't get me wrong. The plot is slow-paced and has terrible dialogue, but even with the flaws, it has the charm that those old shows naturally have. It made things funny when they shouldn't have been, and I was okay with that. Although the animation overall is lackluster, it makes up for it in the art direction! Seriously, I can't get over how top-notch the art direction is. Yoshiyuki Tomino is a legend. The Gundam RX78-2 is timeless.

I started Zeta, and the intro gave me goosebumps! I'm so hype for everything else this world has to offer. Three episodes in, and I can't believe how much better it is.

Fav Charcter - Ramba Ral

Fav Mobile Suit - RX78-2, followed by MS-07B Gouf

Fav Fight - Gyan vs Amuro

Best animation - Gyan vs Amuro

Fav plot - Battle of Solomon

Funniest moment - Garma's girlfriend fainting and breaking her neck. It was so random and dramatic, I thought it was hilarious.

WTF moment - Amuro's Mom, everything about that sequence made me mad. (I think it was to show that even if you are "alive," your loved ones are "gone," "lost" because of war)

Slapped women - 3? (more than enough)

Huh? - Are those...Woah, yeah those are boobs
