What light will last longest between uses?

Looking for a light that I can fully charge, put in a bag then pick up a year or more later and still have use. Is there anything close to that? I use different lights in different places and would love for one to hold a charge as long as possible, even if it slowly leaks just as long as there’s some good use left after a long time. I’ve had an issue with humidity destroying batteries after many months without use, so I’m looking for something rechargeable; but I’m new to the rechargeable flashlight game so looking for suggestions. I think I’d like for batteries to still be an option in this light though unless that somehow affects the long lasting hold of charge capabilities. Size is really not an issue as long as it’s handheld, Thanks.
