Doctor was not concerned about Grade II internal hemorrhoids. Should I be concerned?
Hey everyone. I’ve had internal hemorrhoids since September 2024, and had gotten a colonoscopy a few weeks ago to confirm it. They are Grade II. I don’t have any pain, but during some bowel movements, there will be lots of blood present in the toilet and when I wipe. I have expressed my concern to the doctor. He assured me not to worry and to simply increase my fiber. My diet has been inconsistent in that regard, but I’m improving. When discussing the blood, he insisted that it isn’t a big deal (my blood tests showed I wasn’t losing blood).
Should I just accept that I’ll bleed and that’s simply fine? When I asked about removal, the doctor was very against it because it could apparently cause complications.
Any help is appreciated. Thank you!
