Potentially fail or take UW

I am currently failing Calc 2 miserably and discussed options with my professor on what to do and he gave me the option to not attend the final and he will give me a UW on my transcript instead of an F or I can take the final and if I get above a 75 he will pass me with a C-. Getting a 75 will be extremely difficult for me at this point so would it be better to take the UW or should I attempt the final and take the chance of getting an F if I don’t grade high enough. I plan on retaking the course and I’m confident I will do better next semester so which would be the better option. I’m also on scholarship so I don’t know if the UW will hurt it more or less.
