Black Mirror “Tier Gouging”, Speak your mind

Before you say I’m crazy, I’ve had ChatGPT premium since it came out. At the time, limits were very generous but now it seems like I can only use 4.5 for a few questions per week, and even if I was able to use it for 100 questions per week, this worries me that they’re giving most of the use to enterprise accounts & whoever is paying for the $200/month subscription. I understand favoring them, but I’m paying $20 per month, and have been loyal to them for the entirety of the company lifespan, yet I’m using 4o 99% of the time which has the same features as the free version. I don’t mind this too much, but I am worried that this will get worse & worse, like the black mirror episode where they practically force you to keep upping your pay rate for the “new & improved option”.

This technology is so powerful & extremely new, it’s scary that they’re introducing this so early into its existence, especially when this tech is being discussed as a possibility to change our societies in such a dramatic way like removing 90% of the job market. The only way we can control these huge companies is if we come together as a species to demand certain rights such as not keeping the best version gate-keeped. What do you think?
