Why isn’t Atome more widely used?

I've noticed Atome seems less popular than other payment options despite being available at many retailers, and many people just using it when there’s discounts. For those who avoid it - what's your reason? Hidden fees? Bad experiences? Or just prefer traditional payment methods? Personally, I've been considering using it for some larger purchases and so far I think it’s quite helpful in helping me manage my finances, hope to hear from you!
