Plugin installation help Mac OS

A few weeks ago, I deleted everything off my Mac and reinstalled Mac OS. Before this, Calibre was working great, I had all my books and plugins working perfectly. Unfortunately, it wasn't a necessary fix I had to replace my fan. 😭 Anyways....

I'm trying to get Calibre set back up. But no matter what I try, plugins will not stay installed. It seems like it will install, but once I click restart and reopen Calibre it's not there as an installed plugin. I've tried several different ones. The only one (probably the first one I tried) that will stay is Kobo Utilities. I've deleted Calibre a million times through several different ways including through terminal and an app cleaner.

Anyone have any suggestions? I've tried everything and it's so frustrating
