Physics term scheduling

❔ Question

I'm a freshman at a small liberal arts college. I'm planning on taking Chem 1 next term (unfortunately I didn't take it first term and it's only offered once a year).

I know I also need Physics 1 and 2, but my college is small enough that Physics 2 is only offered every other year. I can either take it in the spring term next year (my sophomore year) or in my senior year. Is senior year too late?

I'm planning on taking Chem 1 with a lab, a Neuroscience course, and a math course next term. My advisor said that Chem and Phsyics together with the other things I'm taking would be very intense. Should I wait until junior year to take Physics 1? Would it be better to just do it now? It's possible that if I took it during junior year, I could do Physics 2 at a community college. Would that make it look like I was trying to get out of taking a harder course at my college, when it's simply not offered?

Any input appreciated.
