Ron Weasley Bashing

I hate what they did to Ron in the movies and what JKR did to him in the last 4 books. Because of this, Ron bashing is a massive turn off for me. Like, I could be reading one of the best hp fics like A Magical Journey from ff.net for over 300 chapters, but when they make Ron an asshole for no reason, it just ruins it for me and I can’t read anymore. Does anyone else feel this way?
