Bane vs Kenobi 2 shot?

I’ve heard that Bane can beat Kenobi with Malak, but I don’t have Malak yet. Is it possible to throw in a garbage team to mess up Kenobi’s cool downs, then go in with Bane? Has anyone tried this?
