Hi, Reddit! Tis I, Timothy Bogart, the writer/director/producer of JULIET & ROMEO, a new pop music movie musical in theaters MAY 9, and stars Rebel Wilson, Jason Isaacs! I also wrote and directed SPINNING GOLD, a bio pic about my late father Neil Bogart, whose Casablanca Records was behind bands like KISS and Donna Summer. Ask me anything!

Information about the film:

The world’s most famous love story is reimagined in this exhilarating musical journey into the tale that inspired William Shakespeare's most beloved play. The film is written and directed by Timothy Bogart and features exciting new songs by Grammy Award-winner Evan Kidd Bogart (Beyonce’s “Halo”, Rihanna’s “SOS”) and Justin Gray and starring an extraordinary cast including Rebel Wilson, Jason Isaacs, Dan Fogler, Rupert Everett, and Rupert Graves, and production design by three-time Oscar winner Dante Ferretti.

In 1301, the two most powerful families in Verona — the Montagues and the Capulets — vie for control as Royal forces and a new Pope battle for control over the land that will become Italy. The son of one family, Romeo meets Juliet the daughter of another, and this epic tale launches them all, and our audiences, into an experience they only think they are prepared for!
