Travel Insurance - 24 weeks pregnant [nl]
TLDR: Looking for a company who does travel insurance that covers mom AND baby if I were to deliver early.
I know this has been asked 100 times (I scoured every post) but I am DESPERATE to find a travel insurance who covers baby in case of preterm labor. We want to go to Europe with our 2.5 year old daughter in a few weeks (a last trip before we are no longer just 3) and our insurance with Manulife covers me and unexpected birth but if there needed to be a NICU stay it "could" be covered. Essentially said that it would be dependant on my pregnancy up until now (which is low risk and there is nothing on file for any complications), if my OB cleared me etc. Said it would be up to the assessor. This was the only time frame we could go in, couldn't go any earlier due to work obligations, and now Im bummed we may not be able to go. I dont know if it's worth the risk of "maybe" being covered if something did happen but the chances are also so slim??
Wondering if anyone has any leads to who may cover baby! I have tried blue cross and CAA, those are the 2 I saw mentioned. Tugo was another but only covers $25k.
