Do i go with AMD Graphics?

Ive been building a pc since 2020. I started off with;

• MSI H61 P31 (B3)
• I7 36xx
• GTX 1060 6gb
• 8Gb of ram (Office Grade)

I later upgraded it with these parts listed below - because we all know the ones listed above do not create a gaming pc.

• ASUS B550m-a
• Ryzen 5 5500
• 2x 16gb T-FORCE ram

Now that i have all of this, Games that were released 5-15 years ago run like butter (Siege, Fortnite, Forza, Minecraft, Terraria, Assetto, GTA v). And we can generally get by in some of the new games that use ray tracing (rdr2, cyberpunk, elden ring) 60-75 Frames. As the release of GTA VI has been “confirmed,”I want to upgrade my gpu for a more ray-trace focused card, and if you couldn’t already tell this is kind of a scrounge build, save by all costs needed. Saying that, i Have been thinking about going AMD, specifically looking at the RX 6800 or better, but my opinion and thoughts can definitely be changed if i am thinking wrong.
