Game still unplayable

I was really hoping this update would allow me to enjoy AC EVO, in fact, there is a major boost in terms of speed from launching the game to start driving, and everything is fine until as soon as I get the car into gear, drop clutch, give gas, the game just starts to stutter and freeze, audio freezes, car won't move, stuff on screen start to glitch, but I can still open the game menu, and easily navigate around the game UI smoothly, but the game grinds to a halt as soon as I try to actually drive the car.

Anyone else experience this?

This has been my experience since day 1.
