Steering stabilizer and shocks

Gents,

First I want to be clear. I am not a expert mechanic by any stretch so this may be a dumb question.

How can I find the size of the stabilizer/shocks for my 02 excursion with a 4 inch lift. The stabilizer mount has depressions on the tie rod so it is meant to fit a specific smaller size. I bought a Bilstein 5100 at one point believing it to be the proper size and it did not fit. Figured I'd ask the experts..
