Should I macerate/mature/age my Versace Eros?

I asked this in the other sub reddit but I recently got a new Versace Eros (2024 batch) and it smells watered down compared to the one on display at the store (also 2024 batch). Is this because the display on the store has been sitting untouched for a while and I should Age mine??

(Also it's important to note down that in this country people can't freely use the ones on display, you kinda have to buy an expensive decant for it cause perfume isnt hyped up here so when people do want to buy these mainstream ones, they usually overprice it to make up for the rarity of people who want to buy it. So that means they can't burn through a whole bottle within a few weeks)
